1. Activities of daily living (Personal grooming - Teeth, hair, skin care.)
2. Dressing, bathing, feeding, mouth and hair care, making beds.
3. Assistance in toileting, catheter care, bowel and bladder care (where applicable).
4. Helping with mobility activities (Bed mobility, wheelchair mobility, and ambulation).
5. Observing, reporting, and documenting patient care activities and conditions (where applicable).
6. Assistance with range-of-motion exercises, turning, and positioning for bedridden patients (if required).
7. Providing companionship and engaging the patient with family and friends (if feasible).

   

   

1. Maintaining the patient’s space (room, bathroom, clothes, and personal effects).
2. Tidying up the patient’s room to bring in light, space, and order.
3. Cleaning soiled clothes and soaking them in Dettol water; limited to the patient’s clothes and bed linen.
4. Using and maintaining the sanitization of the same bathroom facilities as the patient.
5. Ensuring exposure to sunlight and the outdoors (as permissible and required).

   

   

Heating and serving food prepared by the patient’s family for the patient.

   

   

1. RT Feeding (only if the NA is trained for this responsibility).
2. Emptying urine bags.
